The master planned community of Legend Trail is located in the very northern part of Scottsdale near the town of Carefree. With approximately half of its 640 acres dedicated to open space, Legend Trail offers a spectacular residential setting amidst beautiful high Sonoran desert vegetation.

Legend Trail consists of approximately 700 homes in eight parcels, including two estate sections. The home sizes range from about 1,600 SF to over 4,000 SF, and the community consists of eight neighborhoods which are set apart by the greens and fairways of the 72-par championship golf course designed by Rees Jones. Fifty percent of the 640 acres are devoted to open space for residents to enjoy. Many homes border state land and have golf course views.

An 18 hole championship golf course designed by award winning Architect Rees Jones winds through the desert and residential areas, enhancing the beauty of the community and providing an outstanding recreational venue. The course is open to the public, but Legend Trail residents get preferential green fees and can purchase green fee packages to utilize the acclaimed course managed by Scottsdale Golf Group.

The Legend Trail Recreation Center offers banquet and meeting rooms, a state of the art fitness center, tennis courts, swimming and lap pools, and a Jacuzzi. Residents can also stroll along community walking trails, and the adventurous may track part of the historic "Whiskey Bottle Trail" which once brought settlers west and winds through the property.

This resort-like community features a state of the art fitness center. After enjoying a workout indoors come outside and play tennis on one of the two lighted courts. Homes in Legend Trail range from two-bedroom cottages to elegant mansions. Owners are divided between year-round and part-time residents from across the country.
